"Wayward Sons" predates REDG as a public company. I don't think Benny ever signed a contract with REDG, which would have spelled out the ownership and rights to it.

I think the rights belong to him. He might cut REDG in for a small percentage as a publishing company, but, I think he will take most of the money.

Bottom line: your guess is as good as mine.
