I think some people here are failing to appreciate the context of the sort of play this is--YES--it is speculative, that is the nature of ANY R/M play. Many do fail or never happen, BUT we certainly seem to have the connections in place here--via our CEO Hamon Fytton--to get the job done. I really appreciate that Fytton is not putting out fluff PR's or conditional PR's but instead waiting till the deal is closed so that we see a legitimate appreciation off of real, substantive news, i.e., the closed deal, and not mere anticipation that would give us a few ticks but leave us back where we started. As for the share structure, would it be better if it were lower? Yes. But, that isn't the priority right now. If and I believe WHEN the deal closes, if those shares are unnecessary and able to be retired, I believe Fytton will reduce the S/S or do a buyback. Right now, his focus, I believe, is where it should be, on closing the deal.
