I appreciate the shoutout
The fact of the matter is, I am infatuated with this company and I will point out all the reasons in the world for someone to form that same opinion for themselves. I just know there is an eventual gold mine here.
I don't know a thing about the stock market, but I've been part of corporate deals on the buy and sell side many times over. I wasn't the one making those valuations, but I saw they were higher than what we have here. And that involved complications of taking over operations. Not just clicking buy and going about your day (and for that simplicity, people should and usually do pay even more for stocks)
There a simple obvious reasons that it's down (sector, ticker), it's not like they have to find a way to go from losing money to making it. This is the easiest problem in the world to fix, all they have to do is "do it." There is no reason to think it'll never happen. It's just as easy tomorrow as it would've been yesterday.
And morale matters too. I'm not certain I would've stuck to my guns at the beginning, if I couldn't see topdog and Beethoven being intelligent people, doing serious evaluation, and sharing their confidence (sore subject these days?). It helps to be pointed in a direction. It's hard to do your own deep dive on every company you come across unless someone is telling you this one is worth the effort. I'll pick up that torch and run with it until we are rich.
I am looking to quit my job over UBQU some day, and that day is less than a year away from now.
