Actually no...responsibility always falls on who is in charge. Sure the A/C goes out at a gym the owner doesn't literally fix it but the responsibility of it being fixed or not falls on him. Same with taxes...

As a taxpayer, you ultimately are responsible for the information reported on your return. If an error is made, you will have to pay any taxes that are due. Some preparers may pay associated penalties and interest.

All Tracie can do is her part...she is not auditing the company a paid professional Auditing Company is doing that. These auditors are finding something that doesn't jibe and that is why they switch from one to another:

They dropped Anton Chia after they said the audit was done and picked up dbbmckennon LLP because they said " is better aligned with the needs of AmeraMex." That has been done before...

Squar Milner was their auditor several year ago and it didn't get done or pass and they have a stellar reputation. It is all AMMX

My point is Tracy works for AMMX, LEE is the CEO and as such if Tracy can't accomplish the task within a specified timeframe whose fault is it Tracy's or Lee's for allowing it to continue. I would assert that the final responsibility rest with Lee.
