Perhaps the average investor doesn't want to own a wallet and have to deal with security risk.

There could also be manipulation. Last time we had a run up like this it crashed hard.

The whole crypto space is very volatile and it appears GBTC is following the same course.

For the same reason traditional firms trade at values in excess of book value or multiple times their earnings. Speculation on figure success? Growth potential etc.
