Not a single doubt in my mind that $$KNSC$$ is leaving the earth in an upward trajectory well exceeding the planet's escape velocity...

my only fear is that when it reaches the moon KNSC will impact it with such force that it will EXPLODE into smithereens and we will lose our noble satellite, thereby disrupting the tides on our rock, the third planet from the sun...
