Smart people buy at the bid when the market makers allow it to happen! Do you buy a car at the asking price or buy it at the cheapest price you can? Did you buy your house at the asking price or negotiate?? No difference here and definitely MUCH SMARTER to buy at the bid in the trips since one uptick is a lot higher percentage than let's saying buying at the bid when it's in penny land
