True enough. Iran is a good example... rather byzantine by our view, but at least they can say the guy with the most votes got to be president.

Pakistan is largely a democracy.. Turkey is, although they're looking a little more autocratic these days.

The House of Saud though...? They're desperately afraid of any sort of democracy.
