4K has been nothing but market hype from the tv manufacturers. 4K is nothing more than a resolution upgrade in standard. Not a new technology worth tripling a tv's price. There is a new technology just now getting hyped up by the hungry tv makers and that's OLED.
QD- quantum dots lcd is not new either and is another LCD technology. Do not believe the hype about QD as being as good as OLED. It can't be because it's backlighted as well and suffers the same haze look as LCD.
OLED is a true paradigm shift in manufacturing as it does not use LCD tech itself with any backlighting. OLED is a brand new panel speck and manufacturing process. OLED 1080p looks better than 4K side by side. And thankfully there will be NOTHING that nanosux can piggy back on or claim to do with oled. NOTHING!
OLED is a panel specs and doesn't care what you run through it. All resolutions look amazing with OLED.
Wait just a couple of months and you'll be able to pick up a large screen -65 inch plus for the same price you bought that HD 1080 55" panel for just 2 years ago because of OLED taking the top hype high price spot. But OLED will come down in a year as well. The only hype tv can make with other OLED panels is lying about contrast ratios and refresh rates.
nanosux can't sell the 4K lie any more. The ultrasux phone app is dead in the water and nanosux knows it.
