The old Lemans wasn't purty by the time I got her but....I recall driving my then boss's kid home. He wasn't impressed. Until we got on the highway and I gave her some gas.
A friend's father had a '65/'66(?) navy blue Bonneville convertible. I remember him picking us up after a football game on a warm fall afternoon. Our team had just won. He drove us home with the top down. The four of us were shaking our pom poms and carrying on. He never said a word. Just drove with a big old, smile on his face.
