It seems like an odd move, but they could have been waiting to exit and took advantage of a little higher priced liquidity to move to another stock.

There's just no way to move much volume without significantly influencing the price in either direction.

Probably someone who is not aware of the sequence of events about to take place. Financials out leading to probable settlement on the 31st with news about $'s awarded, followed by new contract update. All good in my opinion.
