Goodtimes79. Orders should be filled straight away if the ask is there - but sometimes MMs don't - particularly if a stock is shorted and the figure is just there to dupe people to sell into a waiting bid so they can cover. Under these circumstances, they don't want to lose the "holdback shares".
MMs can pick and choose which orders they wish to fill first - some prefer simple straightforward numbers in millions rather than odd lots - others don't like to fill - or can't fill - All Or Nothing because the full amount isn't available.
This has happened to me when hitting the ask on $DIGX before - not filling or long delays (in minutes) while they come up with a new plan.
If you have an AON order, you can try resubmitting without - the commission should be the same as long as the entire amount is filled the same day (or as long as it takes if it's a GTC).
Why the bid fell down 4 million?--->stock manipulation!Those who bringing this down is people who have alot of shares to keep fueling the ask...someone buys and again they will fuel the ask just to let people buy and over and over again.I am sure the bashers have alot of stock to sell.You can only scary them with big buys!!And keep buying till when their amount is finished and they need to buy at higher prices following the pattern...In short they scary people with huge ask blocks to lower bid price and when the stock wanna go up they will bring it down with again new ask blocks.You see sometimes an uptick followed by again a down tick on the ask.
