yes but your money has to be deposited and sit for 3 days before it will let you buy otc

Yes, but non-marginal's need 3 day clear of funds. In the past, I early overnighted cashier's checks to Omaha, and the money was ready to trade that morning. If you have a local brokerage office you should be able to do the same with cash or cashier's check.
