The approval today of Segwit and a 2mb hardfork in 6 months are what are currently boosting Bitcoins price. Same goes for the boost in price for BITCF yesterday and today. They have found a compromise to resolve the scaling issues. I plan to get out of Bitcoin and into Ethereum before the fork happens though as that will cut the price in half....
