These military contracts and all of the pother business and work that comes with it is the best answer at this time.
FWIW, assured destruction in the example of recent history is the only thing that has worked. This system failed the minute they started talking about limits, and then downsizing (withdrawal). When dealing with radicals and militants only a bigger and better stick has ever worked. WWII is a good example, nobody wanted more bombs going off; it was ugly, but it worked.
The world is in terrible shape right now, years of negotiations with liars and backstabbers, along with not striking back and out has US and the rest of the world in such an ugly condition that stepping up and stepping strong is the only answer. I'll settle for what we know works, and right now!
You can hate on the military complex all you want, but it keeps US up front, keeps US in business and creates jobs, incomes and taxes and all of the rest of what comes along with a strong economy. All of the hate towards the military complex and the tearing down of the military complex has done is make the unemployment line long in length and in time.
It is time to get back to work, and it is time to be a leader once again.
