There must be more here than we can possibly know. GERS/KK/C&C voluntarily entered into these mediation discussions AND willingly agreed to stay the proceedings for 60 days, as well as paying a large sum to the mediator (not to mention costs of assembling in Chicago, etc.). We must assume that they are not stupid and see value in that action. If it was just KK alone we could assume something nefarious like KK needed money NOW to keep BTZO afloat and entertain BTZO babes on a private yacht and could not wait to see the appeal to conclusion. But that doesn't compute -- C&C have some very large irons in this fire too.
