I thought I was having a nightmare for just a minute then read your post. Looks to me to be close to what has been happening with a few different twists and turns.

High school econ ......
My multi-bagger old flame vs new found love
WFCF(2016):
Current price $2.25(mc $55 million)
Revenue 11.6 million
Net income 433k
eps 2c
shares 23.8 million
cash&investment $3.22
pe=99.56 as of today,http://www.marketwatch.com/investing/stock/wfcf
CEO John Saunders is beloved by everyone and 100% accessible except the company is stalled in topline.
vs
ivfh(2016):
Current price 57cents(mc $17 million)
Revenue 35 million
Net income $1.9 million(included a 875k write-off of discontinued operation)
eps 8c
shares 29.98 million as of 5/10/2017
cash&investment $3.76
pe=6 (included a 875k write-off)
CEO sucks and the company topline is growing leaps and bounds.
or
Both companies are alike in term of fundament/cash position/.........
Except ivfh shortfalls:
"Shareholders continue to receive their regular dividends ($0). They continue to have no say in the company. The company returns zero phone calls from investors."

I believe the "DEEP DISCOUNT" priced into the ivfh stock is LUNACY AND OVER DONE. I am betting this "DEEP DISCOUNT" premium would decay over time,and I am assuming status quo.

ps-"there is no company I don't like as long as the price is right" Buffet
