I trusted Nasart a lot more in the past than now. Not that he is totally corrupt but his personal stake is substantial enough that he will, I believe, work first toward self interests. As long as those self interests are aligned with ours all is well. Don't think Nasart is not capable of making a deal which serves himself first. He's not going to fall on his sword for us.
