There is one airline in Canada I like to follow and own significant shares in it. It began flying with older 737's, likely from western pacific airways and was a domestic low cost competitor to established Canadian carriers. They built their fleet, like Baltia on one airframe, the 737. Success has occurred by sticking with one airframe, before introducing a turbo prop and now have announced the purchase is 20 dream liners. But it started with experienced managers poached from other carriers. If Baltia is to be a success they must follow a strict course of disciplined start up, build routes as they have the funds to grow. In the airline industry debt will ground you faster than anything with competitors seeking to remove you via price wars which have killed many start ups. Personally I don't think they have the passenger side talent and Connie stepped down. No big deal on the ex British airways guy - they just talk, they don't set goals.

If a football team is struggling and needs a better keeper, they don't hire a better publicist to explain the losses. The Brit is just a launch pad for a press release winding everyone up. It worked.
