Jeeze, if the companies would simply update to Windows 10, they would not be affected by this ransomware. Windows 10 has been patched for this earlier, and gets updated as needed.
The reason this ransomware is successful is that companies are lax on their own part, and running Win XP is just one example of that. If they won't even upgrade their unsafe and no longer supported OS, what is the likelihood that they'll purchase security software to protect their out of date and no longer supported operating systems?
