Microsoft can fix the problem, but they can't force users to update their software. My understanding is that most of the compromised Windows computers are running Windows XP. Yes, XP. Not supported for years, but companies continue to run it without support, making it the PERFECT target for this type of attack. Can you say DUMB companies???
