Remember politicians say alot of stuff and deliver nothing. If Watt stands up against the hypocrites/bureaucrats in congress like Corker who wants to destroy the GSEs and does the right stuff. I would be the first person to applaud his actions, because I know its good for the country and good for the GSEs and their shareholders. But somehow I have doubts that he will fight for the health of the GSEs and their shareholders. Time will tell what kind of person this man is.
Until its written and authorized by the powers at be on official paper that Watt abolished/stopped the NWS, I would not celebrate ending the NWS quite yet.

Agreed. I think mnuchin will clarify exactly that on thursday. They will not end the nws, but rather pause it while the rebuild a set capital buffer. Now, let's hope the capital buffer is set to 200 billion haha!!
