Are you kidding? It's referencing the known 2016 numbers.

"More than 30%" is not a definite guidance.



It's literally taking 1.3 * 86,421,000 (which is $112.35M), and then saying they will exceed that. Just because you have to do grade school math to figure it out doesn't mean they didn't give a specific figure. They did and that number is $112.35M.

This was the guidance the company issued guidance for 2017, and then a few weeks later revoked that guidance (by stating they are not giving guidance for 2017).

The question isn't whether or not this happened: It did.

The company was confident in doing $112M of business earlier (I believe Nelson said they would be very disappointed if they didn't exceed that), and now because of how they recognize revenue (which hasn't changed) they have decided to no longer issue guidance.

But why?
