I was wondering about that myself. Haven't been following this too closely... a political zoo. I have been a little confused on the process.
It would make sense that if you vote against the recall, you should not be allowed to vote for someone new as well... otherwise, Davis should be on the ballot and I have not heard anything about that. If this is the case, I wonder how many will do both and how many of those ballots will be thrown out. Apparently the chad method of voting is still going to be used in some places. There would be no electronic way of blocking a second vote.
No wonder the Democrats were upset with Bustamente (spelling?) jumping in there.
What a freakin' mess.
