I have the issue with Fidelity so I called up TD Ameritrade where I also have an account and at first the representative said no interest till put to me, but then he checked with someone else and they have same policy.

I.phrased my question.

If I am 100% invested and sell a put will I be charged any interest before it is put to me. Doesn't seem fair.
