the point is that he claimed he can stop this - He could have stopped it all along but now that the guy in the oval wants me to change it he will.
The duty was interpreted to be protect the shareholders when it was written - the courts have disagreed and made up new definitions to get to their desired outcome - but now, all of a sudden, he's worried about the capital levels b/c they're going to $0... then why didn't you stop this earlier in your tenure?
Also what is that money going to fund? Does ending this flow and trump ending o-care subsidies in the same week mean that they're related (To be fair trump didn't end them, just threatened it, again, either today or yesterday... hmm probably just a coincidence)
