We do not need actually a Tesla deal other than the one we have to survive and make money in the lithium World. The lithium biggest percent of World resources are located somewhere else but not close enough to Worlds biggest economy also a democratic and safe country. if you want an economic lithium play it must be for starters in US

They probably will expand sooner or later but they do not need a rush now with plenty lithium around to satisfy and may be export lico once they whole economic plan is out. Now we need pemif process to kick in fast after economic because we do no want to depend of those unstable ponds deposits
