It's a first for smartcodes appearing and being used in a public promotion via cellphone in the US. Not necessarily a super big deal when considering everything else that has already happened... but still a first, and that's the point of the PR from where I see it. It is a small thing in and of itself.

As you rightly notice, there have been many other promotions using the concept, from Mobot's work with Ellegirl and Starbucks, to our partners across the pond using 2D barcodes, to everything in Japan...

Really not much difference except for

- 2D smartcodes
- In the US
- Linked via cellphone for public participation

Yes DRMYKE..the promotions overseas were not using QODE so obviously they are not a part of the launch of QODE or the old PC. Those promotions were going on prior to NEOMs acquisition and were these companies own proprietory programs.

As for the relaunch of micropaint under the new name, its just the same old song and dance again. They call it the grand opening. As I said months ago, this business was profitable before NEOM took it over, now its losing money, and now there is a new GRAND OPENING just before the sale.
