First of all, I think that statement is too much of a generalization.
They have shown that they are interested in MANY different aspects of medicine. So to say that they only want CBD to fund Cancer Research, is not accurate. One of the reasons maybe, but more in general, I think they recognized that much of what they want to do is going to take much longer than they originally thought.
So maybe the timing of CBD is to keep the company running without staying in debt, while supplying a product that is already in their wheelhouse, Pain Relief.
I still believe the MAIN thing holding up the cancer end of this is a PATENT. With a patent, money would be no object. As money would be flying at them from Big Pharma in the form of a partnership.
I can't say it enough, evidently, without a patent, this goes nowhere.
Who would spend money on trials without patent protection?
As of just now the re-submission has not been sent in. The last entry is the "Final Rejection" on 03-31-17
I believe the only thing in their immediate future is making a success out of the CBD line.
