Good cover. LOL. I was kind of hoping that's why you posted that, but couldn't resist being a smart aleck.
Just got dark and big surprise! rainy here. The hammer of the gods is pounding in the distance so I had better be quick like a bunny and get the hell off the machine.
My day off went all too quickly. It was nice to have a clean house to veg in. Did get my walk in... felt good in spite of the heat.
Neighbor came by to look at the retaining wall. He assured me it was not in imminent danger of collapse. Think he was repressing a chuckle. He located the source of the waterfall and suggested an asphalt patch that is sold. I have a lot of dirt to dig off the end of the parking area... know just where I will put it... that's another home improvement story. He told me to give him a call when I am ready to do the patch and he'll come over and look at it again in case he has some better ideas as to how to solve the problem.
He also measures the rainfall. We got 8 inches last week. There were times when it was falling at the rate of an inch an hour this past weekend. No wonder everything smells like wet earth around here.
Guess I'd better get off. It is coming down in buckets right now.
