Bob, I'm very concerned about English ownership. The English do not look upon matters, such as Freedom Of Speech for one with same passion as we do here in the US. As you know, it’s takes more than just stock talk to keep a website in the hits.
Just in case, I will be keeping an open eye for a new home in case this place falls apart. However, I do feel much better now knowing you two will be staying on to run things for a while. As I’m sure you are aware, contracts mean less as time goes by, it is quite common in the corporate world to promise no major changes, and then later break those promises.
I'm real happy for you both, I know you’ve worked hard to build the best damn site I’ve ever used, Truly. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for all of here on IH, as well as those on SI, I hope the new owners are sincere and do not do as most have in the past with website purchases and let IH & SI fall to the way side in hopes that their format will be the new home for those currently posting on the purchased site. I remember the horror of RB, twice.
BTW, I’ve been to the new owners site, and I’m not impressed, I hope they follow you & Matt’s idea of what a financial website should be.
