DFC looks like a bogus entity. Do we know if DFC was legit? It looks like Galanis made this corporation up along with multiple ones that we know were all bogus.
So Thomas is suing for the URL back or the stated value which Fund purchased domain for 10 million. IMO the URL is probably worth a few million dollars. We will win the URL back. I don't see them paying for the stated value of the URL. So, if we can recover the full 4.5 million from the lawsuit plus 2-4 million from the URL that would put the recovery at approximately 7 million.
The big question mark is can AdvisorShares pay the 2.5 million left owed in the settlement. I say there's no way they will come up with the money forcing Fund to go back to the courts and get a default judgement or void the settlement stipulation. This would put us back owning 60% of AdvisorShares which would be huge.
