From what I understand, having been a shareholder since 2007, and info is tough to come by, is they have recovered substantial treasure several years back from various dive sites in the DR and the government is withholding their agreed upon payments. Not crystal clear on how much. But Global Marine is in a similar boat (no pun intended) as DPBE with the DM, and Global Marine is very close to having their lawsuit resolved, I believe, in a very positive way.

Sorry....Not True....Criminals In DR Govt Breached

All contracts with Deep Blue and Global Marine in 2014, putting a stop to all diving and recovery. And they proceeded to steal all treasures recovered by the companies which were in the hands of the govt awaiting the contractually agreed upon 50/50 split.

Global Marine has sued the DR for $10 million dollars and that suit is nearing a conclusion.
Deep Blue, without the financial resources, will await the results of that lawsuit.
A positive outcome for a Global will be a positive for Deep Blue and hopefully get everyone back in the water.

At the time of the breach, Deep Blue was actively recovering treasure from FOUR different shipwrecks in the DR, from the early 1500s to the 1700s. So Capt Billy and crew know where the treasure is and hope to get back soon.

Maybe that was news from 6 years ago. NOt now though.
They ceased to exist 6 years ago when the DR stole their found artifacts and treasure. We are hoping someday they reach a settlement with the DR, but until then they are not reporting, have no office, have no assets, have no officers, no employees, have no registered rep, are not registered with any state, have no active license, and do not really exist. Oh, and have no boat. So no, they are not salvaging anything off the coast of the DR at this time.
