Hired to oversee all clinical operations and logistic for all studies domestically and internationally, across all therapeutic areas and indications. Responsible for finding, generating RFPs for bids, analyzing, and choosing the appropriate CRO to run a project. Responsibilities include: Review of all CRF / EDC designs, study protocol review for logistics, Safety, Data Management, Clinical Monitoring, and Project Management Plans created by CRO. Begin to create a “structure” internally with CMO, to build and train a small staff to allow more studies to be conducted, but use more internal resources to oversee each vendor. All CRO activities and budgets report directly / indirectly to me. Also in charge of clinical packaging vendors, label review and coordination with clinical shipments.
