PN is the worst negotiator I have seen in my life. He had nothing to do with the JDZ so that deal, with full carries to first oil was pretty good. Since Ntephe has been in charge, he tried for a decade and never found a partner or negotiated a deal in the EEZ. One block had to be sold for a pittence and the other still has no partner. How bad has that negotiating been?
In 5 years of trying he couldn't negotiate a deal in a single Chad block and all of those have now been forfeited. Awful job there too.
In Kenya, he signed one of the worst deals I have ever seen. Kenya was hot at the time but Ntephe couldn't negotiate a deal that had a full carry on even a single well. ERHC now owes 10 million because of Ntephe.
The Chad oil ministry is probably thrilled to get rid of ERHC. After 5 years of getting nothing that was promised by ERHC done, now they can go sign someone that actually has the money and ability to do something. ERHC had neither.
