We have a spokeswoman that is saying something that contradicts the Secretary's stance he put out yesterday... but I agree.. not a good development to remove the possibility of the sweep ending with the next payment.
This signals to me that the USTreasy wants to force another draw on the bailout funds so it can use that as the guise to rework the GSEs at that time.
The great thing is the media is full of people like joe light and carney that suck so much they might be able to spin it as though they didn't see it coming when people on message boards saw it coming years in advance...
