AMD had greater than 10% marketshare prior to Nehalem. So, its really not out of line.

And if you are long, certainly Naples will impact you. It'll take time.

AMD had the MPU lead starting with the original Athlon, but the real impact wasn't felt after Athlon 64. During the Athlon X2 days, they briefly took ~50% retail marketshare. If Intel doesn't run away in a massive fashion like they did with Core, you'll see them taking significant share in a few years. And with servers they don't need to take anything significant. Just 5% is enough to negate any growth for Intel in the datacenter space for the next few years.
