Taking all that into consideration, what gets me is that for a wire from my Wells account to my AMTD account, I have to go to my bank and go through all of the gymnastics of that whole thing.

For a wire, (not an ACH), from my AMTD account to my Wells account, I can do that from the AMTD website just like an ACH, never leaving my chair......Wells still sticks it to me for $30 bucks but at least I can be violated in the comfort of my home!

I think all wires should be able to be done in that manner, from your bank website and no longer in person. I mean if that's the fee for the wire sure but its my choice, wire or ACH.

Maybe Wells just enjoys sticking it to me in person and then likes watching me do the walk of shame out the front door.
