I saw this video a little while ago from the Pyrogenesis Board. If I recall, the speaker focused on Pyro technology around powder. HOwever, I think it would be a mistake to think that this is their only game changing technology. With their expertise in Plasma they are developing technologies in several areas.
1. Hazardous Waste: Pyro is developing mobile units that can be used to dispose of hazardous waste. The waste does not have to be transported to central facility. Military is now testing. The technology includes systems that the us navy is already placing on board navy ships to dispose of waste.
2. They are developing technology for extracting valuable metals from waste. I believe the waste is referred to as slug. Again the technology already exists but their technology could be better.
3. They seemingly have had very good success developing technology for extracting silicon from quartz at a very low cost. Could be huge in the solar panel field where cost is everything. They have an agreement with a company that is paying them to develop the technology. Pyro owns the tech but the other company has agreed to buy their systems and pay a 10% royalty.
A lot going on with this little company. In all these areas the CEO has gone out on a limb (imo) saying that field tests in all areas are exceeding expectations and that 2017 is going to be a great year for them. In fact, they seem to be positive at every juncture of their tech development. Never heard a CEO sound so positive. And the CEO owns a good amount of the shares of the company. Not sure how much though.
