I use AMTD as well. When I wire funds its there in 60 to 90 minutes.

I bank at Wells Fargo, so that might be of some help there as Wells Fargo and AMTD are working together. On paper, the wire is going from a Wells account to a Wells account.

Also make sure your bank has all of the account and routing numbers correct or it will delay the wire transfer by a day.

Also check with your bank to see when / time of day they send the wires out. Some banks / branch's will not send them a.s.a.p. and some will so check on that.

Call AMTD and have them check your past wire transfers to see what the hold up was and get that corrected with your bank on the next one.

If I wire funds when the bank opens, 9 out of 10 times its in my AMTD account within 2 hours at the latest and I can trade non marginable's that same day.

If I recall, TDA wire transfer goes through Wells Fargo in SF CA. Depending where your funding bank is located, let's say East Coast for example, then it all depends on who wires it in during time of day. Technically if you got it wired shortly after your bank opened, then west coast should have it credited before they close. All depends on who's receiving it on the other end weather it'll get credited that day, so for this reason funds are usually available to trade next biz day.
