Yeah, back in the days when folks were lucky if, they had more than one TV set. Yeah, the early '70's seems possible. There were a lot of variety shows on then. I don't think my parents watched them much so, I was stuck in that regard. Flip Wilson...Dean Martin...Carol Burnett and on and on and on....
Harlem Globe Trotters...was that with Meadow Lark Lemon and Curly Joe? I liked them a lot in the early '70's and I used to watch their Hanna Barbera cartoons around that time too. Damn, I even had a Globe Trotters metal lunch box (HB cartoon style) in 1971. Wow...what a trip! Mucho fun! :D
