I think most would assume no maintenance because well... there isn't any.

I had a friend that had squirrels make a home under the panels. That cost him a bit.
And make sure that you put them on a nice roof so you don't have to move them to re-roof...
Unless you have solar roof..... LOL!

Warranties usually don't cover 100%, and all warranties are not equal.

"A solar panel has two warranties: a performance and equipment guarantee. A solar panel's performance warranty will typically guarantee 90% production at 10 years and 80% at 25 years. An equipment warranty will typically guarantee 10-12 years without failing. SunPower offers the best warranties."

Any problems are covered by warranty's, inverter is covered by its own warranty, panels are covered by their own warranty

Sunworks warranty

Photovoltaic modules, mounting brackets or tracking structures, inverters, wiring, foundations for the free standing systems, utility-required interconnection equipment, together with any other equipment eligible for the State of California’s rebate/incentive programs. (is all equipment needed to keep a solar panel up and running eligible for the Ca rebate program? I personally don't know)

This Warranty also extends to any leaks proximately caused by roof penetrations Sunworks made while installing the PV System, but it does not extend to leaks that would have occurred even in the absence of such penetrations.

Certain restrictions apply. Sunworks reserves the right to modify this warranty verbiage at its discretion.
Official warranty language is within the Sunworks 25-Year Worry-Free Warranty provided at the end of the project.
