Found a thread called "just avastin" on inspire. Worth a read since many of those symptoms are seen on patients using avastin + vb111/some other combo

Good points about health degrading. If one was diagnosed with rGBM tomorrow and started Avastin, there expected overall survival would be 32 weeks--with 16 weeks of "stable/disease control" with Avastin, then 16 weeks of falling off a cliff with Avastin failure. These are dying patients with horrible baseline health situations due to their tumor and prior treatments. But, it also appears many seem to have substantive side effects with Avastin itself. You can find people wondering if the Avastin was even worth it, i.e. not improving quality of life. One of the measures that Avastin was approved in rGBM was that it might add to the patient's quality of life by reducing the steroid use, but from reading the threads on Avastin, I'm not even sure about that.

While I think oren often speaks in hyperbole, one of his long standing claims has been that Avastin is harmful and a liability to VB111. It is a legitimate argument.

After this Ph3 rGBM succeeds (I am still very hopeful and optimistic), they really should follow up by getting that VB111 + PDL1 in the clinic ASAP. Assuming Ph3 is positive, that could become frontline very quickly.
