I have no problem with a tortoise and hare analogy.
KBLB is the tortoise (aka winner)
But hare?... everyone else?

Well the "everyone" being Amsilk, BT, and Spiber....

How exactly do you see them as a hare?
Your analogy says they should be the fast ones.

How are they faster than the tortoise?

None in production.
None with a fiber that can compare to spidersilk.

There is no indication that they are ahead of the tortoise in any way other than accumulation of debt.
I think combined they are pushing 1/4 billion in debt with nothing to show for it.

How are they the hare in this story?
I see them as tortoises in rabbit costumes.
Maybe even snails.

Do any of them even have a contract to actually produce anything at all? Even a small one like KBLB army contract?

I know they have "teamed up" with some names they dropped but do they have a production contract with these names or is that just a publicity stunt like BTs ties?
