Please do more research on VLN. PM even funded a study that showed VLN wasn't all that successful in quits, but it was healthier for the smokers.

Go sit down, have a cigar (one from the General please) and do some reading on PM. Yes they do it to create barrier to entry, improve image, and change policies.

If PM hates VLN, then they are going to have to block Brand A and X22. Or they could just buy em and shelve it.

To think PM would be so transparent and leave their playbook wide open for Peons like you and I to figure out. Ha! That's naivety. Hidden in plain sight. Most are just too lazy to find it.

And what of Brand B? XXII meets with FDA this month to do a proof of concept with them. You gonna tell me Big T wouldn't want Brand B? Henry and Joe mentioned in the Herzog call that Brand B was the money maker. Brand A was a niche product.
