Jaybird- re: VSNT

Jaybird- VSNT is hot right now, but I'd be cautious about hanging onto it for long. I find the company interesting, so I just skimmed through the last 10Q. I find it similiar to HURC in that they do get about 2/3 of their revenues outside the US where economies are not slowing as much. They also sell to some degree to the defense sector and healthcare sector, which is a good thing in a slowing economy. However, I still would be cautious as most technology companies are heavily linked to the economy, and so might VSNT be even though they do over 2/3 of their business outside the US. I also noted that both in their earnings PR and in their 10Q that there was no mention of guidence past the last fiscal 2006 qtr, which ends Oct 31. Don't forget what has happened to KTCC and SMTX despite their great earnings and guidence, as they are highly cyclical. Also note that the technology sector has done very well in general lately, but that could change on a dime in this market. Jaybird, I'm just very wary of anything remotely cyclical right now, which would include the entire technology sector pretty much. Good luck though- hope VSNT flies for you next week. Wade

VSNT - thanks for the heads up jaybird. Kicking myself for not impulse buying at $8.20. I did get some at $9.20. Growth looks slow, but most of it should go to the bottom line.
