Hospitals can do scans whenever they want.

MRI weekday/weekend

the mri only mentions weekend.... I dont know protocol of how clinical trials are run.. so sure it could be monday but that would be the latest IMO

There is a "visit window" for each subject visit in a clinical trial protocol. Therefore, the scan will occur within the window per the protocol. If it doesn't, it is a protocol deviation, which usually isn't a big deal depending on the study - although the FDA frowns on it. It isn't out of the ordinary to schedule subject visits on a weekend if the hospital can accomodate it.
