From the General surgeons that I'm close with, few find the robot relevant outside of dabbling in bariatrics, and even then I question the cost associated with it. Good bariatric surgeons that use the robot do not do it any better or any faster than lap. You can't even do an entire sleeve or bypass w the robot, which begs the question...what's the point?
