I think tutes know it. Look at the recent BMO markets paper. Someone posted a screenshot of the first page from their report, on Twitter. BMO markets talked about adds and deletes.

Even buying GDXJ/JNUG after rebalance is a bad deal if GOLD price doesn't reach 1400.

This whole rebalancing mess is: Sell low, buy high by VanEck.
