What boom is ISRG getting out the hernia market? I don't know any one doing hernia on the robot...It's too difficult and too expensive. Their studies to support it are also the biggest pile of BS ive ever read. They say the reduce the seroma rate on ventral hernia by 33%...sure....
ISRG is trying to behave like Steve Jobs on this one. There is no market on hernia and they are doing their darnedest to create one. Full court press. Adding hours and $1000s to the cost of each case.
